Clare’s Students

Clare’s students have excelled over the years. She has brought students from pre-training level to Prix St. George and to schooling Intermediare I, II and the Grand Prix movements. Her students have had numerous High Point awards and wins.

Clare’s Junior riders have excelled in the Junior Championships and in the USDF Junior and Horse of the Year standings.

Various Accomplishments of Students:

• 2004 – Jr. Rider Lacey LaVigna earned the highest score at 4th Level at the Marin Chapter Show on Breen Jenkins’ SWB gelding “Bravo”.
• 2003 – Jr. Rider Lacey LaVigna earned the highest score at 2nd Level at the Marin Chapter Show on Breen Jenkins’ SWB gelding “Bravo”.
• 2003 – Jr. Rider Lacey LaVigna was awarded her USDF Bronze Medal, achieving her 2nd and 3rd Level Scores in just one season. She is now schooling 4th Level and all the FEI movements and pursuing her USDF Silver Medal in 2004.
• 2003 – Jr. Rider Amy Savage received many blue ribbons at Training Level with Marianne Rice's gelding "Oliver".
• 2002 – Keith Bradkowski was awarded the Nancy L. Martin Perpetual Trophy for receiving the highest score at the Marin Chapter Show on his Trakehner gelding “Nicholai”.
• 2002 – Breen Jenkins was awarded her USDF Bronze Medal, with scores achieved on her SWB gelding “Bravo” and on her Hannovarian gelding “Amantiado”. Breen is schooling 4th Level and Prix St. George and is pursuing her USDF Silver Medal in 2004
• 2002 – Jr. Rider Lacey LaVigna riding “Aces” was Team Reserve Champion at 1st Level at the Jr. Championships North.
• 2001 – Jr. Rider Lacey LaVigna riding “Aces”was Team Champion and Individual Reserve Champion at Training Level at the Jr. Championships North.
• Jr. Rider Jeniece Thomas was number 1 in the nation Jr. Rider for three consecutive years at Training, 1st and 2nd Level on her Lippizaner gelding "Bogart". Bogart was also Lippizaner of the year with Jeniece all of those three years.
• Student Leslie Ungermann has received countless wins, ribbons and trophies over the years with her Hannovarian mare “Bari” and her rescue mare “Page”. Some specifics for “Bari” include:
• 2000 – USDF Breeders Championship Series Senior Mare Champion and mature horse Reserve Champion, and Reserve Champion Ultimate Sporthorse at the West Coast Sporthorse Classic
• 2000 – USDF Breeders Championship series Senior Mare Champion and High Scoring Hannovarian at the Sporthorse Spectacular
