Trainer & Competitor |
Clare is currently training and instructing out of 5 fabulous facilities in Petaluma and Sebastopol; including the marvelous Willowbrook Stables. Clare would be happy to accommodate you and your horse at one of these facilities, or to come to your home or barn.
She has been awarded the Silver and Bronze medals from USDF, and is currently working towards her Gold.
Clare specializes in dressage foundations for horses of any discipline or breed, training and instruction through FEI and sale horses.
She stresses individual full and customized care for horse and rider.
Clare very much enjoys working with junior riders as well as young or
green horses that are just starting their dressage education.
Clare Long has been an avid rider and lover of horses since she was 8. By the age of 14, she was already training, teaching, competing and selling horses for commission.
Clare has gained much insight and invaluable experience over her 30 years of horse handling; beginning with pony club and progressing into an FEI
level rider, trainer, instructor and competitor.
Many of her clients compete, but those who choose not to are not pressured to do so.
Clare’s achievements are numerous, and will be summarized here. For a more detailed account of Clare’s career highlights, her resume is available upon request. |
